New on PEP-Web for 2023
The 2023 release provides another year of all current publications which move out of the publisher’s embargo period: subscribers will have access to the 2019 issues of current journals with 3-year embargoes, and 2017 issues of journals with 5-year embargoes.
IJP Open – Additional Features!

The discussion launch pad for working papers submitted for publication to the International Journal of Psychoanalysis, continues to enable authors, readers, and reviewers to converse in real-time, facilitating active and enriching multilingual debates.
New for 2023: in addition to original manuscripts, any resubmitted versions of articles will now appear and be linked online, along with the relevant rounds of reviews, Editors’ decision letters, and authors’ responses. Authors can also now reply to readers’ comments and all IJP Open discussants will receive notifications with each new posting. This process continues until a final decision is made. Platform Updates
With this release, we are also including fixes for many of the issues, which users have reported with the initial phase of the new PEP-Web interface. We will continue to do so, and to add and develop new features that benefit our users.

Release Summary
This new release of PEP-Web contains the complete text and illustrations of 83 premier journals in psychoanalysis, 100 classic psychoanalytic books, 124 videos, and the full text and editorial notes of the 24 volumes of the Standard Edition of the Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud as well as the 19 volume German Freud Standard Edition Gesammelte Werke.
The PEP archive spans over 111 publication years and contains the full text of articles whose source ranges from 1911 through 2022. There are over 144,630 articles and 19,667 figures and illustrations that originally resided on 2673 volumes with over 1.30 million printed pages.
